CARE

We are proud to provide high quality care for all the children in our nursery. A key person system ensures you will have a named person to pass and gain information from about your child.

There are themed rooms for babies, toddlers and pre-school children. These are spacious and well equipped. We encourage healthy eating with meals and snacks being prepared within the nursery's modern, well equipped kitchen. We will work closely with you to potty train your child when they are ready.

PROPRIETORS

Paul and Ingrid Cole are qualified teachers. They share a wealth of experience in education as well as the personal experience of bringing up four children of their own.

STAFF

The nursery’s staff are caring, committed and well qualified.

The Senior Nursery Nurse, Claire has a NNEB Diploma and Line Management qualification.
Nursery Nurses have NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
Nursery Assistants have NVQ Level 2 qualifications or are training towards this.
All nursery staff have had an 'Enhanced Criminal Records Disclosure' check.

PLAY

Play is very important for your child’s development. We provide a variety of play opportunities including:

Creative: gluing, sticking, painting, modelling, playing musical instruments.
Constructive: building with a variety of large and small equipment.
Imaginative: dressing up and pretend play.
Manipulative: developing fine motor skills.
Experimental: learning to problem solve and find out about the world around them.

We have well equipped outside play areas so that your child continues to learn while they run off energy.
